The fascinating
life of bats has interested Tony
Tilford for many years and he
has participated fully in the
practical conservation measures
adopted by the Norfolk
Bat Group
[link to 71D] since its
foundation in Norfolk, UK some
thirty or so years ago. Investigating
bats in all of their various habitats
from hibernation to breeding has
given the opportunity to record
in pictures their secretive lifestyle.
These images show bats that
are found mainly in Britain and
Europe with a few from other parts
of the world.
