This website reveals Tony
Tilford’s passion for the natural
environment and his success in the photography
of wildlife, cage and aviary birds and pet
and zoo animals. Based in Britain, but travelling
worldwide through many countries including
Europe, Asia and America, he has accumulated
a unique library of colour photographs of
animals; many rare, threatened or endangered.
Sharing the beauty of these pictures has
been possible by publication in books and
magazines to which he also contributes as
a specialist author.

His photo subjects also include
tortoises and turtles, and faster moving subjects
such as bats, hummingbirds and moths in flight
have been made possible through technical
and high speed flash photography.
More recently he has travelled widely in Indonesia
photographing the birds of Sumatra, Java and
Bali and further to the east in Sulawesi and
in Biak Island in Papua. |
