The Bali Bird Park
must rank one of the most pleasant
of its kind in existence. Housing
around 1000 birds mainly from
Asia but also worldwide amongst
a delightful setting reminiscent
of a botanical garden, this place
was the vision of Eddy Swaboda.
Now belonging to Bali Adventure
Tours, the park is being reorganised
to suit the recent change in visitor
pattern. I am assured its atmosphere
will not be spoiled and the experience
and service will only be improved.It
is certainly a place I would recommend
any visitor to Bali to spend half
a day. Plenty to see and enjoy;
a good restaurant; and a very
welcoming staff of local people.
It is my first port of call on
any visit I make to Bali. |
