Bali Starling |

Bali Starling Foundation |
There are, at present,
several undertakings afoot to
realize the recovery plan for
the Bali Starling. The outstanding
Bali Bird Park - Taman Burung
- under the new management of
Bali Adventure Tours’ Director,
Nick Blackbeard has an active
breeding program to build up release
stock. The Bali Starling Foundation
based at the Bali Bird Park was
set up to accumulate funding for
general use in the breeding /
release programme and to increase
local awareness of the issues.
When possible, Bali Starlings
bred at the park will be used
to supplement the breeding birds
at Bali Barat National Park by
providing greater genetic diversity.
